Dah Who Doraze!

I watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas the other night, and the happy nonsense words and catchy songs are still dancing around in my head. What a classic!

A grouchy, small-hearted hermit tries everything he can to sabotage Christmas, but ends up being overcome by the delight of the habitants of Whoville. Even though he takes their gifts, trees, decorations, food and candy, the Whos continue to celebrate with joy.

I wonder if I’m ever a Who. Do I bring others up when they are down or grumpy? I hope so. Sometimes it’s difficult to be cheerful around a stick in the mud, but with a little persistence, I can usually act silly enough to make them laugh.

Well, as Forrest Gump said, “That’s all I’ve got to say about that.” So, I’ll leave you with these fun quotes that have been frumdrummin’ in my Who-head for the past few days. Just sharing some Who-love...

Every Who down in Whoville liked Christmas a lot,
but the Grinch, who lived just north of Whoville - did not.
The Grinch hated Christmas - the whole Christmas season.
Now, please don't ask why; no one quite knows the reason.

It could be, perhaps, that his shoes were too tight.
Or it could be that his head wasn't screwed on just right.
But I think that the most likely reason of all
may have been that his heart was two sizes too small.

"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store." "Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit more!" And what happened then...? Well...in Who-ville they say That the Grinch's small heart Grew three sizes that day!

Fah who foraze! Dah who doraze!
Welcome Christmas, come this way!
Fah who foraze! Dah who doraze!
Welcome Christmas, Christmas Day!
