I had two lovely creatures visit me yesterday. They grazed in my yard for about 20 minutes while I watched from my back deck. The lighter colored one (I named Baby Love, lol) glanced up at me every now and then, as if to say hi. What a joy to share those moments with these dear deer.
I didn't 'spot' any spots on Baby Love, but he was little, so he probably lost them not too long ago.
If he had a red nose, he'd look like Rudolph. I agree with Clarice--Rudolph is cute; but to be honest, I think Baby Love is even cuter.
The sweet little tyke even peeked around the corner to tell me good bye before he left. I hope he knows he has an open invitation to come visit me again. I already miss him. :)
I'm dying with the cuteness! Have used my yearly 'ahhing' allowance on these pics! You're so lucky to live somewhere you get to see these beautiful creatures up close. Where I live I'm lucky enough to see hawks a lot, and maybe not quite so luckily, loads of bats lol.
ReplyDeleteLovely post!
I love the deer pics! We used to have a family of deer that came and grazed and played in our yard before we moved, I think that's one of the things I miss most about our old house, I miss our little deer family! :)
