The Merciful Scar

Heartbreak and healing.

Kirsten Peterson is a young girl in pain. She’s a cutter. It temporarily relieves some of her inner turmoil. But one day she goes too far, and does it in front of her boyfriend, who is horrified, and calls 911. The incident is believed to be a suicide attempt, so Kirsten is committed to a psych ward. She then agrees to go to a sheep ranch for spiritual, emotional and physical healing.

This is a touching, realistic story geared toward young adults, with a positive message and a satisfying ending.
