The World Needs More Love Letters
When is the last time you
wrote a letter? Not a note, a text, or an email, an actual letter that you put
a stamp on and slide it into a mailbox. For me it’s been so long I can’t
remember. Before the digital age I wrote letters all the time. I have relatives
all over the United States, and even abroad, and I sent letters to ask how they
were doing, tell them how I was doing, and just to say, I’m thinking of you.
The digital age is wondrous.
It’s miraculous actually. But the art of letter writing is being lost. And
that’s kind of sad. How sweet it is to receive something other than bills and
advertisements when the mail carrier comes. A handwritten letter is a treat—and
a rarity.
Well, Hannah Brencher, the
creator of this cool booklet of all-in-one stationary and envelopes provides a
no-hassle, super sweet way to bring this art back. All you need is a stamp and
a pen. There are a variety of designs on the forty pages of stationary, and
after you fold them into the envelope shape (and easy 1-2-3 step) you moisten
the glue strip at the top and seal it with on of the ‘wafer seals’ provided on
the last three pages, address it, stamp it, and send it on its way. Easy-peasy!
And just think of how touched the recipient will be that you took time out of
your busy life to send them a thoughtful letter.
The World Needs More Love Letters stationary isn’t just for love letters. These
colorful pages can be used to write to anybody, young or old. And the inside
covers (front and back) provide forty ideas to inspire your letter writing.
