The Time Garden (Review)

If coloring books, crayons, color pencils and such are only for children, then I don’t ever want to grow up!

I’m in love with The Time Garden, by Daria Song. The drawings are so intricate and the process of coloring is soothing and peaceful. It’s nice to have elaborate designs to color, rather than animated children’s illustrations—and how fun that there is a storyline to follow throughout the pages! (A girl going on a journey through a cuckoo clock.)

Every page is filled with detailed wonder to color, even the cover. Crayons aren’t ideal, for many drawings have small, tiny spaces so pencils or gel pens might serve better.

The book is gorgeous, the storyline is entertaining, and I can get lost coloring for endless hours!
