Marked in Ink (Coloring Book Review)

I enjoy being creative, and coloring is such a fun way to express my artistry. I have many adult coloring books, but I must say that Marked in Ink is one of the more unique ones I own. The drawings are characteristic of tattoo designs, for a wide variety of tastes.

From skulls to kittens, this book if filled with fun, perforated pages. The page backgrounds are stark white, and the drawings are in black only.

The only downside, if you even want to call it that, is that some of the mandala-type drawings have a lot of white space. I would prefer them to have been larger, with a bit more design detail, but it’s not a huge deal.

The pages are thick enough to eliminate bleed-through from my gel pens, and the perforated pages are a nice perk. And what a pretty cover!

This coloring book for adults makes a thoughtful gift, especially if paired with coloring pencils or gel pens. Love my copy!

I received a review copy of Marked in Ink from Blogging for Books.
