This is the first book I've read by Bethany Turner. Wooing Cadie McCaffrey is unique from most Christian fiction I've read and I have mixed feelings about it.
I found the plot a little frustrating in that they two main characters failed to communicate in a reasonable way. Also the shame didn't feel completely believable. But there are redeeming and fun parts in the story as well.
With a blend of depth and wit, this is an overall enjoyable read dealing with the importance of communication and forgiveness. I just wish the spiritual aspect was broader in the story, rather just when guilt was primary.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher.
