The Very Best Hands-On, Kinda Dangerous Family Devotions

There are many things I love about this family devotional. The initial thing I noticed (and loved) was the Table of Contents. Yeah, I know that sounds silly, but the list of activities is so straightforward, clearly stating the theme, which makes it easy to find the precise topic you're seeking. Seeking God's will for your life? Easy...turn to the 10th devotion. Is your life a mess? Easy...read devotion 36. Do you have anger issues? Easy...Go to the 50th devotion.

The second thing that I enjoy is the layout's simplicity. Each devotion states its theme, a things-you'll-need checklist, possible advanced prep work, the activity, and the lesson. They close with a summation, wrapping up what was discovered.

And lastly, but not leastly (I know that's not a word) the devotions are fun and engaging. Family time is important and this is an opportunity to not only be entertained, but grow closer together.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher through the Revell Reads bloggers program.
