Collateral Damage is a breathtaking suspense story that played in my mind like a movie! There is great action, and the main characters are easy to connect with. I love how realistic this story feels, and that it deals with PTSD in such a careful and authentic way. And I really enjoyed the slow-burned romance--rather than an insta-love kind of story.
This is one of those keep-you-up-all-nighters, with fantastic connections, (friendly and romantic) believable 'bad guys,' and a wonderful thread of hope and faith.
Some of the scenes brought to mind a television series I used to watch called 24--filled with action, danger, and suspense. One in which you're shouting at some of the characters and cheering for the others. A great read.
