Elysium Tide

 

This book is a lot different than most books I read. I enjoyed dabbling in something new and I anxiously turned pages to figure out how it would all end. I loved the Hawaiian setting, even if a murder disrupted the gorgeous setting. ;)

I wasn't so sure I'd like Peter (at first.) He's kind of an arrogant workaholic who is forced to take a break. Even then, he works. But he ends up growing on me. Lisa is easy to relate to and I liked her from the beginning. They have a history, and it's tricky.

If you like a lot of action and suspense, this is a good choice. I haven't read anything by this author before and enjoyed his writers voice. It seems there is room for a sequel, so I look forward to that.
