Sunburst

 

Just as it was in book one of this series (Sky King Ranch) Sunburst opens with a bang! It pulled me in quickly with action, suspense, great characters, and a dose of adrenaline. Even if you have not read book one, this still works well as a standalone, but the flashbacks from the previous book are fun to revisit.

With hostage situations in Nigeria, to battling romantic chemistry, this story will get your heart pumping. The characters are easy to love (most of them, anyway) especially Noemi. I connected with her so easily and saw nuances of her personality match mine. 

The Christian aspects of the story are inspiring. I love how Susan May Warren makes her stories not only entertaining, but so meaningful. I can't wait for book 3.
