Melody Carlson has a wonderful writer's voice and creates believable, loveable characters. Sisters Madison and Addie are a bit at odds. They have different ideas on what to do with the Christmas tree farm, and to top it off Addie has her eye on Gavin, who has his eye on her sister Maddie. Yikies!
Don't you just love a bit of drama? I love these characters and didn't want the story to end. This fast-read redemption story with plenty of gusto has themes of forgiveness and communication, and leaves a lasting impression.
