Identity

 

I am a huge fan of devotionals, especially when the book carries a common theme throughout. This one focuses on how we find our identity in God. He makes us new. What a joyful and exciting thing to contemplate.

I really like that the readings are short and simple, yet they hold a lot of weight. This isn't the normal type of devotional I read, because it doesn't follow the common format of Scripture reading, devotion, and questions. Although I do like that type of format, it's always fun to try something knew and look at things from a fresh perspective.

This is an uplfting and encouraging book. I love that envisioning how God changes us from the inside out comes easy. The brief daily readings stay with me and steep through my day.
