The New Living Translation reads smoothly, which is nice for everyday reading. Words of Jesus are in red, the pages lay flat okay, and it has a small ribbon bookmark. What makes it extra-special, other than the compact size, is the free Filament app. Its super handy if you want extra notes or resources without carrying a thicker Bible. Scan a page with your phone and you’ll have access study notes, maps, devotionals, and more.
