This book didn’t just talk about friends—it made me ask myself what kind of friend I am.
Even though we might have many friends (sadly, most are virtual), many still feel lonely. The book gives realistic tools and biblical wisdom for building the kind of friendships God wants us to have. The section called The Jesus Example especially stayed with me. Jesus made space and intentional time with the Father and his friends—and that’s both convicting and inspiring.
The questions at the end of the chapters are simple, but they help me reflect on how I can love my friends better. I’m challenged to be more intentional with the people God puts in my life.
