The Bright Side of the Other Side

I don't read a lot of memoirs, but “The Bright Side of the Other Side” certainly kept my attention. I really like how the author compares the renovation of her broken down cottage to her troubled and broken life. 

 

It was easy to sympathize and empathize with all the author had gone through, and so inspiring to see the faith and hope she held to throughout her journey.

 

With warmth and openness, she shares so much and I really appreciate that. It isn't easy to expose your hurts and troubles to others, but  she does so in hope of helping others see that there is light on the other side.

 

Beautiful writing and meaning. I enjoyed this tremendously.
