A Rebel Heart

 I really enjoy books where the main character is strong and determined, without losing her softer, more delicate side. Selah is a great character, and I cared about what happened to her.

With themes of trust and forgiveness, this story has so much heart. The research that must’ve gone into this book is evident, making the post-Civil War scenes and the characters vividly come to life.

Great pacing. I was taken on an emotional adventure, and look forward to the rest of the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell, the publisher.
