I've enjoyed every story I've read by Ms. Gabhart. She creates such believable characters and strong scenes that play like a movie in my head as I read.
The story presents romance, drama, and mystery to keep you turning the pages. I loved getting to know Jacinth, Gabe, and Aunt Tildy, and watching them influence each other, pray, and grow. And the river and riverboat are unique characters of their own. The component of faith is the glue of the story.
I loved this historical fiction river story and give it five stars!
