In He Should Have Told the Bees, Amanda Cox weaves together the journeys of Callie and Beckett, showcasing their remarkable character growth. The inclusion of beekeeping and a standout secondary character adds unique depth to the story. The setting feels familiar, even though I know little about beekeeping, and the plot is meaningful and evokes so many emotions.
The blend of mystery, family dynamics, and confronting past pain keeps the story engaging and the characters are easy to connect with. I enjoyed the author's poignant writing style that delivers both sadness and reconciliation making this a wonderful exploration of love and hope.
