Carrie and Trevor have two agendas, but find themselves entangled within the same investigation. There is plenty of danger, suspense, and of course, romance, but it develops in a believable way--slowly and organically. No insta-love (which I don't find engaging.)
This story has so much to love. I turned pages quickly, connected with the characters, felt like I experienced the scenery, and was invested in the storyline. I love anything I've read by Elizabeth Goddard--she's a wonderfully talented suspense author. Great story!
