Historical fiction is a favorite genre of mine--especially stories that take place in and around WWII. Being written by Sarah Sundin is also a huge plus because I've loved everything and anything she's written!
Aleida and Hugh and their stories are fascinating and I loved spending time with them.
With a wonderfully rewarding blend of history, mystery, and a whole lot of heart, this inspiring read is well worth your time. The themes of hope and faith are woven throughout in a beautiful, satisfying way.
