There is so much to love about The Divine Proverb of Streusel!
This is a satisfying story that has so many elements I look for in ficton. It's inspiring, entertaining, and focuses on family, food, and small town community.
I lost count of how many times I was tempted to pause reading so I could try out some of the recipies. Ultimately, I continued reading, snacking on whatever was in my pantry instead.
This book contains so many opportunities for growth--and I'm speaking of characters and readers alike. This is a beautiful story with wonderful messages and elements of faith.
