First off, I enjoy reading the NKJV version. It is easy to read. I also like that the Bible stays flat when it's open so it makes reading and studying easier. but what really stands out to me are all the extra features in the beginning that help me navigate through my studies with extra information and a solid foundation of the culture, topography, etc. of the times.
This is a red-letter Bible, (Words of Christ are in red) and features the traditional two-column design. And I'm always pleased when a Bible comes with an attached ribbon marker.
