The Curse of Calamity Wells

 

It is fun to remember my childhood by reading stories for elementary and middle school kids--especially those with high action, danger, and mystery. "The Curse of Calamity Wells" fits all these categories, plus a Christian message, which I appreciate.

The main characters in this tale are all different and make the story lively and interesting. I like that the book isn't just about the danger and mystery; it also shows how important friendship is and teaches Bible lessons, like how God can make good things happen even when life is hard.

This clean, adventurous story is great for kids who love excitement and detective work. The small town feels memorable, and the characters are easy to relate to.
